Jane Leggett of Moline Illinois is a new My Power of One member. She is an instructor at the middle school in Moline that I spoke to last May. Jane was also my cheerleading coach when I was in high school! Welcome Jane ~~

 16 new members joined My Power of One on 2-2-9. Stan Sword and his musical group Awaken along with family and friends. It is with great apppreciation that I welcome these new folks. Each got their `pin` and are now empowered to inspire others.

Thank you Cathy Runyan-Svacina for buying 50 My Power of One pins. I am so honored to have you representing this project in any way possible. Cathy is a fellow Kansas City Women in Film & TV member.

I had a new member today (3-4-9). He donated $5.00 for his membership and did so in an anonomous manner which to me is the ultimate of giving. Not needing any recognition for your act shows amazing character and for this I thank him!

 

Norm and Kathie Smith joined the My Power of One grassroots efforts this week along with my sister Chris and her husband David.

 

Stephanie Tillman joined My Power of One with a $10.00 donation along with a ton of graphic design work for this site!

Jim DeMars and his Pension company will be wearing My Power of One pins. Jim has been a long time supporter of my projects and I know he will follow this effort with great interest and best wishes!

New member (3-11-09) Greg Hoffman generouly joined for  $10.00. I gave him 5 pins and he said to give the other five as his gift to five others. Greg has committed to write the My Power of One essay and he might be my very first essayist! Now that`s inspiring!

Carrie Brandon of Brandon and Brandon has joined My Power of One. She was so generous to join with $10.00 and only receiving 6 lapel pins. She is paying it foward with her graciousness to 4 other members. Carrie and her company created my Heartland films web site.

My very first MYPOO pin sold online today to Debra Lou Ruzicka who lives in Carol Stream Illinois. I`ve known Deb since the 7th grade!

Kevin has committed to being the Media Specialist for the My Power of One project and will begin working on press releases for national exposure. My `angel donor` gave another $10.00 to the My Power of One project again without wanting any recognition!  He`s a keeper!

37 new librarians became members of My Power of one today thanks to Susan Burton, Executive Director of KC Metro Library and Information Network. 

Two new My Power of One members. My cousin Danny Hueber joined on facebook for an amazing donation of $25.00! Also my little sister Bailey Norton from the Big Brother Big Sister program joined along with agreeing to be the face/voice of the teen My Power of One. She is 15. How awesome is that?
